AUCHROISK 15 YEAR OLD
Auchroisk, pronounced Auch Roysk, means 'ford of the red stream'. This bottling seams to encompass that name with a red colour never seen before in Malt whiskies. The amazing colour has come from Jim Mckwan’s additional cask enhancement, which has meant that the end of this malts maturation process has been done in Guigal Cotes Rotie Syrah casks. Distilled at Auchroisk Distillery, Cask type: Bourbon/syrah, ACE'd in Guigal cotes rotie syrah, Speyside, Bottled in 2008 by Bruichladdich Distillery, Islay. Limited release: 2050 bottles.
